My story…
Most of my life I have lived in Israel. As a kid there I used to love being active and trying out all different kinds of martial arts and sports. However, every time I would be excited about one thing, after a few months I would quit and try something new. Only at the age of 17 I found a real passion, Capoeira (Afro Brazilian martial art with acrobatics, dance and music). I changed my whole lifestyle to dedicate myself to Capoeira. I lived, breathed, ate, trained, and socialized Capoeira. Very quickly I started teaching and performing Capoeira.
I was lucky enough to have Ido Portal as my Capoeira teacher, who is also a well known Strength and Conditioning coach who introduced me to different training methods in order to improve my athletic and Capoeira performance.
In 2005 I have left for a 9 months long journey in the world. Half of my journey was dedicated to learning different approaches to achieve higher athletic performances from top coaches in the world; the other half of my journey was dedicated to traveling to different Capoeira events and schools in North America and Brazil.
Today I live in Oakland, California. I have my own in-home personal training business, teach Capoeira and am a trainer at Crossfit Oakland.

I became a certified massage therapist and health educator in 2006 after studying at the National Holistic Institute, a 10-month 720 hour massage therapy and health education school that trains students to work in the massage therapy/spa environment. I've had a passion for massage long before he began school, learning independently about massage and its origins, and practicing on friends and family. I want to make it my life's work to heal using touch.
I've been playing Capoeira since I could walk, being that I'm the son of Capoeira Angola Master Cobra Mansa and was born in Salvador, Bahia, where many slaves who were captured and taken from Africa passed into and brought with them this ancient fight disguised as a dance, and where it became the beautiful and unique art that is practiced worldwide today!
I worked with kids soon after high school, joining the nonprofit organization Sports4Kids teaching PE classses and running an after-school program at the school for kids at Lake Elementary school in Richmond, CA. I have enjoyed working with children but had to follow my goal to become a massage therapist and graduated from the National Holistic Institute, which made me able to start up an at-home massage business around the Bay Area. I am a talented percussionist as well, having played with jazz, bossa nova and samba bands in restaurants and festivals in California and Washington DC.
